Rockefeller Steps Up Pacific Northwest Game

Rockefeller Capital Management, the US wealth management house, has appointed former First Republic Bank figure Brian Riley as head of its San Francisco office.

He has also been named managing director of its Pacific Northwest division for Rockefeller Private Wealth Management.

Riley will report to Chris Dupuy, national field director for Rockefeller Private Wealth Management.

At First Republic Bank, Riley served as an executive vice president on its private wealth management team, serving high net worth individuals. He began his career at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, and later held a variety of leadership positions. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and holds an advanced management degree from Harvard Business School.

In the first quarter of 2020, its private wealth business added 11 new advisor teams.

Among other appointments, last year RCM appointed Carissa Morganstein as a senior vice president and client advisor in the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Morganstein, who came from Ayco, the family office unit of Goldman Sachs, is based in the firm’s offices in Saratoga Springs, New York.
